Physicians Group Services Feeds the Community for Coastal Community Service Day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – August 1, 2017 – Physicians Group Services (PGS) has partnered with First
Fruits Outreach to create Coastal Community Service Day, an event which will be held on August 12,
2017, to distribute food to the needy in the local community.

The hallmark of the non-profit entity, First Fruits Outreach, is their record of distributing food to those in
the community wrestling with food insecurity. They achieve their outreach efforts on a foundation of love
and truth.

PGS and Coastal employees will volunteer their time to assist in this endeavor and are challenging others to volunteer their time and energy for the event. Currently, no donations are necessary, only manpower.

“PGS seeks opportunities in the community to give back so I am pleased they wanted to partner with
something that is near and dear to my heart,” said Melody Kennison, a senior manager for Coastal Spine
and Pain Center. “One of their specialists groups, Coastal Spine and Pain Center, will be purchasing the
food for distribution on August 12th.”

Coastal Community Service Day will be held at 8625 New Kings Road and begins at 8:30 a.m. The event will continue until all 10,000 pounds of food are distributed out to the community. Volunteers are being asked to arrive an hour early, and to wear closed toed shoes and clothing that’s appropriate for grunt work.
